Please tell me, was my Puzzle simply too obscure, or had most of you never heard about this song that's almost part of the history of Great Britain in WWII
I was afraid that the empty clock face would give it away at first look.

Would it have helped if I had put a question mark on the last 2 images?
( I did give one hint that said they asked you a question to answer)
What if instead of the globes I had shown a map of Europe with a question mark? I considered that, but thought it was too easy No I don't think either of those would have helped me. Sorry. But that's not to say there was anything wrong with your puzzle just this particular puzzle solver couldn't get a handle on it. |

I think it was a well thought-out puzzle. Hint: Pictures 1 and 2 express a hope or a wish. Pictures 3 and 4 sort of ask you a question and if you answer it truthfully you have the solution. Seeing it solved the clues make more sense. I can't say that I am that familiar with the song but listening to it, I'm sure I must have heard it. That being said, I don't think you really had to know of the song to solve the puzzle given your reference to Peter Sellers and WWII. What I think would be interesting for the future might be for the person who solved the puzzle to share how they arrived at the answer, as you did with Clive's. I don't think it matters so much that you arrived at the answer by analyzing it in a way that he hadn't intended. After you solved it my first thought was that the colors of the map of Australia almost contained all of the colors of the rainbow. |

Thought I might have.......needed the clue about famous book title.....got crew sew......and then that sent me on a merry google search.
Not sure if I will be able to create a new puzzle as I am having issues with photoshop that I'm trying to resolve. Open to anyone who wants to create another puzzle.
