It was partly cloudy here in Texas, but peaking through the passing clouds, it did not appear very pink here either.

I tried to enhance the color to make it more pink in this composite, but it didn't turn pink (of course I could go was overboard and achieve pink)

Didn't look pink here either. I posted my capture in the Weekly Photo Challenge. I really like your edit on this, Pete. It looks like it would make a great poster.

Pete - I really like the lighting in the foreground. Thanks! After the moon rose behind the clouds there was plenty of light for this set up foreground; the moon capture was a very few minutes prior.

Cool photos Peter. There was cloud here so no photos the past two nights. Maybe this was mentioned. The April Pink Moon is not pink, although could be. See here The Full Moon in April is the Pink Moon, from the pink flowers – phlox – that bloom in the early spring. Other names for this Full Moon include Sprouting Grass Moon, Fish Moon, Hare Moon, and the Old English/Anglo-Saxon name is Egg Moon. It is also known as the Paschal Moon because it is used to calculate the date for Easter.
