Considering that I have Elements 7 with Elements Plus, is it possible, and if so, how, can I select a group of images and apply the "Sharpen Soft" command that is in the Elements Plus "Tray Menu" to all of the images at once ?
Going a bit farther, can I accomplish that and also then "Stamp Visible" as in Layer > "Merge Visible" while holding the "Alt" key, such that I have the Sharpen Soft layer with a top layer that is the finished product ?
I have been doing this one by one to thousands of images and surely there is better/quicker way.
I hope my questions make sense enough to understand what I am trying to do.
Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

Hello BuckSkin Batch-running a script via the Tray Menu isn't possible. Instead you use E+ "Batch" dialog for this. 1. Please, be sure to watch this video on the "Batch" tool. It's recorded in PSE 12, however, it applies to PSE 7 as well. The only difference: since PSE 7 hasn't "Actions", you open E+ "Scripts" dialog from the "Effects" palette. 2. Add "Sharpen Soft" (from "Sharpen" category) and "layer - Merge Visible Layers" (from "Commands" category) scripts into "Batch Optimized" category. 3. Run the "Batch" script, 4. In the "Scripts to Run" area, select the added "Sharpen Soft" and "layer - Merge Visible Layers" items. Hope this helps.

Hello BuckSkin Batch-running a script via the Tray Menu isn't possible. Instead you use E+ "Batch" dialog for this. Thanks ! I wish I had asked about this ages ago ! One small snag = when I do this manually - one at a time - I hold down the Alt key before I release Layer > Merge Visible Layers; and thus, instead of merging and flattening all of the visible layers, I get a new layer that is all of the visible layers merged together; in many photo editing programs, this maneuver is called "Stamp Visible" and in most there is a command "Stamp Visible" that performs this with no need to hold the Alt key; can I "Stamp Visible", and if so, how ?

Please, do the following: 1. Download "Stamp-Visible" script at: elementsplus.net/scripts/Stamp-Visible.jsx2. Put the downloaded JSX file to: C:\Elements+\7.0\Scripts\Batch Optimized\ 3. In the Batch dialog, select "Stamp-Visible" item.

In the Batch dialog, select "Stamp-Visible" item. THANKS ! ! ! This new-to-me procedure is going to save me a ton of time. Uh-oh --- I click the link and I just get a page with some text: Like this: "var idMrgV = charIDToTypeID( "MrgV" ); var desc71 = new ActionDescriptor(); var idDplc = charIDToTypeID( "Dplc" ); desc71.putBoolean( idDplc, true ); executeAction( idMrgV, desc71, DialogModes.NO );" I don't see a file as such to download; What do I do ?
