When I open the curves function, two questions appear:
1. The first dialogue box stays open which takes up space. That is not too much of a problem because I can move it out of the way. But, on the tutorial I watched, it did not hang around on top. so, just wonder if that is normal
2. With the curves box open, are all the functions supposed to operate or is it limited? The black, white, and middle grey eye droppers don't seem to work. Is that typical?
I know the creator of elements+ used to hang around here. Don't know if that is still true. But, of course, anyone who knows the answers is welcome.
I am using win 10 update to latest and Photoshop Elements 14. The version of elements+ was downloaded way back in in December 2019. Just getting around to trying it because I thought the functionality might be helpful.
Thanks,
Chuck

Hi Chuck, The creator of Elements+ -- Andrei Doubrovski -- is still with us. As a matter of fact, he was online helping a member just yesterday. I'm sending him a PM bringing your questions to his attention. Hang in there!

Hello Chuck I'm the creator of Elements+. * Unfortunately, there is a kind of a bug (only) in PSE 14 that prevents closing script dialogs while the initiating script is running. The "eyedroppers" in the Curves dialog don't work for the same reason. ** I'd suggest the following workarounds: - Load "Color and Tone.atn" set to your Actions panel as explained here: elementsplus.net/help/en/customizing-actions.htm- Or, if you prefer the effect thumbnails, add the Curves command to your Effects panel as explained here: elementsplus.net/help/en/commands_to_effects.htmThus, you will be able to access the Curves directly, without opening any extra script dialogs. A video example of this approach: youtu.be/ADFIcMMbR24*** Please note that "Auto" button in the Curves dialog won't work anyway. If you need this feature, please, watch this video: youtu.be/D2lY2V22N7E?t=84

Thanks Andrew. I appreciate it. I will give it a go.
Keep up the good work.
Is there a version of PSE that is the least buggy with E+ or do they all have their own issues?

Chuck, you are welcome!
IMO, all versions since PSE 15 are ok. Just be sure to acquire PSE via Adobe site or on a disk (and not in Microsoft/Apple app store)
