Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun. NOTE
This week's theme was suggested by billz . (Thanks, Bill!)

With last week's theme still fresh in my mind, I thought I'd share a Coronavirus prayer. I found it on the internet at a site called 24-7 Prayer . What I especially liked about it was that it was a prayer that embraced people of all Faiths.

Image my own taken today. The Praying Hands is a famous pen and ink drawing by Albrecht Dürer and is stored today at the Albertina Museum, Vienna, Austria. There is a very touching story attached to the Praying Hands. Some would cast doubt on the truth of the story but whether false or true there is a lesson there for all of us. Here is a link to the story for anyone interested... The Praying Hands

So yesterday I decided to "clean" out a cabinet. It ended up being a trip down memory lane with me getting rid of very little. I came across this little prayer book which I thought fit this theme. Converted to monochrome in NIK SE using the Antique Plate filter.

Very quiet around town this morning so sat in the empty parking lot of one church while taking a picture of another - used a B&W profile and added a touch of split toning as the pure blue sky was a bit overpowering - though nice to see for a change! Tony

This is a monument to fallen military in a tiny cemetery that sits alone on the prairie a dozen miles south of the town where I live. The town that founded the cemetery in the 1870's no longer exists except in memory, and in the old schoolhouse that still survives about a mile away. The cemetery is still neatly maintained by some of the local residents. That the school still stands seems something of a miracle. Rick, this is an emotion-eliciting subject and your capture did justice to it. I just keep going back to these images. Beautiful!

The church nearest my house is the Hope Korean Presbyterian Church. Bill, great finding. I love the name of the church -- Hope! We all need it in these dire times. Save these images for posterity!

Frank, this is an image worth a thousand words. It makes one stop and reflect on its message. Your creativity paid off!

Tony Tony, great shot -- subject as well as composition. I love the architectural details, the simplicity of the composition, and your choice of post-processing.
