Hi all Sorry for being quiet....been helping our son and DIL with renos and also getting the summer place opened up. (Yay!) I've gone out most evenings to take photos across the road. Here are four. The great horned owl was shot out in the country. Clive White pelicans

Lillias Thanks for your kind words. Well, that's sort of a difficult question. No, we live in a small town BUT on the edge of town. Across the road is park which houses the Alberta Birds of Prey Center and beyond that is farmland. So it is hardly a wilderness. A urban-rural park and wetlands. Handy for me as I can walk across the road after dinner and watch the birds and sunset. I'll post another photo in a new thread. Clive

There seems to be a good variety of birds there. All beautiful and you really do them justice in your photographs.
