This was pretty cool. The sun sort of came out after dinner, so I went in search of Bert the Beaver and this sun halo was out, so I "ran" home to get another lens and "ran" back...more of a fast waddle. It lasted a few minutes and for whatever reason disappeared in seconds. Lucky me.

I've never even heard of a sun halo far less seen one. It looks awesome Clive. Fabulous image.

I must agree with Chris, there is certainly a fantasy feel about the picture. It really is out of this world.
