I am pleased with this. But, I would appreciate comments from you experts.

If it pleases you, then it is exactly right. It is your concept. Picasso got fabulously rich by doing what he liked without paying the slightest attention to his detractors.

Thank you, Rita. No chance of me getting rich, though.

This is lovely whippet. My only advice would be to adjust the shadows somewhat - both the size and the opacity. A tad smaller would mean a better definition between each horizontal panel. Just my opinion and I'm no expert. As long as you are happy with it what anybody else thinks does not matter.

Thanks Lillias. I see what you mean. You know me. I was just hitting buttons to see what would happen. I was actually surprised when I got the shadows there. It never entered my head that they could be changed.

I like this image. Well done! The main focus is in exploring the beauty of the tree with the back-lit tones of green and yellow set against a blue sky. However, I feel that the frame is too prominent here and is set too tightly against the pale blue matting. I would suggest increasing the size of the pale blue matting/background of the rectangles and making the dark blue stroke around the frame much thinner. Then the main image will have more freedom and the frame will not distract from the beautiful image.
Thanks for sharing.
Kind regards Chris

Nicely Done, Margaret!!!
I think that the border is competing with the image and could be much smaller. Great job with this image!

Thank you both very much, for your comments. I had originally just put a narrow white frame round the outside of the image. But it didn't look right. I don't know how I ended up with the dark colour on the inside frame. Yes, I have to agree with you both. On hindsight, the dark blue would look better reduced. And looking at the picture with new eyes, I would like to get hold of it, and stretch it so things aren't 'crushed' up to the borders. And, Frank . . I love your new avatar.
