Why do some plants have flowers which hang upside down? The beauty of the blooms cannot be seen.

Nice flowers whippet. What are they? Why do some plants have flowers which hang upside down? That's so when we are washing the floors on our hands and knees we can look up and admire their beauty.

You have just brightened up a miserable day,Clive. I am hopeless at remembering names. I may have it noted somewhere.

Just done a search. No, it is not that, Frank. But, I did come across one which I have - snakes head Fritillaria. Mine are the mauve flowers.
I have a couple of friends, who could possibly know the name. But I haven't seen either of them recently.
