No whippet. I believe photoFXlab is the forerunner of what turned into Topaz Labs which is another software entirely from PS or PSE. It is an old software and I don't think it's available now.

Jai Johnson is using photoFXlab - I suppose that is in Photoshop, not Elements? whippet, photoFXlab was a Topaz product released a few years ago (2011? 2012?); it was available as a standalone version as well as a plug-in for Elements and Photoshop. It was designed to be a hub, a control center for all your Topaz products; you could just apply them from within photoFXlab. I don’t see it listed on the Topaz Labs site any more. It is my understanding that Topaz Studio (currently in v.2) is the new "hub".

I have hands-on experience with both photoFXlab and Topaz Studio/Topaz Studio 2. However, since its release, I no longer use photoFXlab.
Topaz Labs designed this program to be a hub, or I should say, an interface for individual Topaz plug-ins. In this way, it’s similar to photoFXlab. However, it goes one step further; it was also designed as a brand-new photo-editing program.
From within Topaz Studio 2, I can access, for example, Glow, Impression, Simplify, Texture Effects, etc. In the case of Texture Effects, I have imported quite a few custom/third-party textures.
When I go to the Filter menu in either Photoshop or Elements, I have both Topaz individual plug-ins and Studio 2 listed. Then, I can choose which way I want to go -- Filter>Topaz Labs> . . . or Filter>Topaz Studio 2>. . .

I obviously don't know an awful lot about Topaz Labs as although I have it I haven't used it much. Also I haven't added anything to the default filters that come with the software. Can you tell me if it's possible to work with layers in TS in the same way that Jai Johnson works in photoFXlab. I have tried but so far can't find a way of doing that. Searches on the Internet have not proved fruitful either. I have included a screen shot taken from one of her videos to show what I mean.
