Hello, I have rejoined the village community! Bit slow in picking up on the change over. I have upgraded to LR 6 stand alone subscription. All going well except that I cannot get emails working using the email preset. I have checked the email account manager settings and now at a loss what is wrong. The SMTP server says, smtp.googlemail.com, the SMTP port is 465 (SSL/TLS)and I have a 'No authentication' setting for security. This all seems OK to me but something is wrong. Emails always fail. It worked fine in LR 5. Any ideas ?

Update to my original post. I identified the problem although even Adobe support were unable to help.
It appears that the problem was using the "No authentication" setting. Once I changed this to "Password" and entered my Google p/w, the problem was solved.
Just in case anyone was wondering...

I'm glad you found what was wrong. I have sruggled several times with e-mails settings, but I don't use it in connection with Lightroom.
