Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

From my kitchen window I have a rather unique view of the flags across the street. Removed powerlines across flags.

A flag that is always nice to see, especially in these days! Needless to say I stopped in to this local farm market, loaded up with freshly picked asparagus and checked to see when the first strawberries will be ready - maybe next week they say. Will be back! Tony

Whew ... I see no one else has used Tibetan Prayer Flags yet, so that's what I'll go with. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

One more - spotted these flags (aka irises) at the base of a flag pole on our morning walk and couldn't resist a shot. Technically I believe it's not this variety of iris that is commonly called flags (these are the bearded variety) but I'll stretch the definition to fit the theme! Tony

Judy, I really like how you composed your shot; our eyes are drawn across the frame towards the flag. Nice garden setting!

Tony Tony, placing the spotlight on this flag was a great idea; this flag is a beacon of hope. "Normal" days ahead!

One more .... a pride flag outside a church in downtown Portland. Bill, this image is a winner on more than one count -- symmetry, viewpoint, and . . . choice of subject. It makes us pause and reflect on our troubled times.
