Born Tuesday afternoon, June 9, 2020 . Near Cowley, Alberta These fawns were born in a "vacant" lot early this afternoon at our summer place. Mom had just finished cleaning them up when we got there. She calmly walked away and left them alone ... they do that. We took a few snapshots and moved along. Cute little critters. Was very cool to see such young ones. Unfortunate that they were not in a more "wild" setting.

How wonderful to see them in real life. They are all so beautiful but that last photo in particular is so cute. TFS Clive...

How special to be able to witness that and share it with all of us! Thanks, Clive. Certainly not an experience most of us will have.

Thank you. They are so darn cute and pretty wobbly for a while. The mother moves them every few hours and they feed. She walks away after they are bedded down and, although she is in the area and watches closely, she does not stay right with the fawns for a few days.

They look dazed and confused as if wondering how they got here. Yes, so cute and TFS.

Very cute, love baby photos. Me too, if they are of animals. How old is a human baby, before it can stand upright? Doesn't matter about the background, Clive. You were in the right place, at the right time. To me, the subject is the most important part of the photos.
