The mule deer seemed to "disappear" in the past few weeks but once again are coming out in the open. They are foraging on the rapidly developing barley and canola fields around the summer place. The old house (posted here a few times) was looking quite photogenic the other day with a nice summer sky and decent background.

Beautiful portrait of the mule deer. I would probably never get tired of photographing that old house either. Hope it continues to stand for years to come!

Oh Clive I love both of these. And like Helen, I would be all over that house!

Thanks Judy and Helen. The old house is a great place. Viewing positions are limited as the land is posted because people have stolen siding off the house. So I'd never step into the property. Fortunately you can approach within a few meters on the public road allowance. Waiting for some northern lights (they have been absent all winter here) and go at night. Maybe. Maybe not. Clive
