Stayed up late and was able to see the comet on the low north horizon. Was very neat to see. I sort of knew where to look but could not see it until I used binoculars so got the camera gear out. ISOs 3,200, 2,000 and 1,000 and from 2½ to 5-second exposures. From in and around the summer place.

These are wonderful, Clive! I'm trying to figure out about how long it was visible to you looking at your exif data. When I google it all the sites with information would allow me to only read so much before a screen came up blocking the content unless I subscribed!

Thanks Helen. Where we are, the comet is visible for about 5 hours between about 11 PM and 4 AM. I took photos either side of midnight. There should be accessible web pages with info. However, you might try Stellarium here. You will need to set your location, although it "knew" where I was. Having said this, I have never used this web app. The comet should be visible for many days. You just need a clear sky low to the northerly horizon. EarthSky has info as well. Good luck. Clive

Thanks, Clive. I was not interested in trying to capture this just finding out approximately how much time it was visible to you. They are wonderful images....will they find a place on your wall?

Thanks Judy! this just finding out approximately how much time it was visible to you. Helen, it lingers from near dark until near morning light..several hours. Interesting stuff. If you have a clear sky and a suitable place with a north view, you should be able to see it. Clive

I've been wanting to try some shots of the comet, but of course, since I made up my mind to do it, we haven't had a clear night. Tonight is suppose to be possible... so I'm hoping...
