...while Clive is watching stars, comets and the northern lights (I AM SO JEALOUS!!!!), I am watching my midnight raccoon each night up in my cherry tree for the past two weeks, scrambling around the branches, almost falling out of the tree numerous times (him, not me!), either shovelling cherries with its little raccoon hands into its mouth, or knocking the cherries out of the tree, creating a nightly mess for me to clean up in the morning. ....add to that the birds and squirrels that are attracted by the cherries on the ground, and it's a chirping, squawking, fighting and other unidentified sounds episode taking place during the day. Thank G*d, the cherries are finally done! ....not to worry, ...I'm at the end of my rant........here is the culprit caught red-handed (.....he made an unscheduled afternoon stop a few days ago......)

Great story Pat, and it looks like he's enjoying the spoils, with no expression of guilt whatsoever.

Fun story Pat .. at your expense. So cute ... still trash pandas. I've have never seen a live raccoon on here....a few road kills. They are quite common in Lethbridge ... apparently.

Love your story of the raccoon. Started my day off with a smile. I love cherries too...

You "paint" a good story, Pat....both with words and picture. Cherries are hard to resist!

Great story, and very handsome fellow.
You are probably like me - get woken at the crack of dawn. In my case, it is the pigeons letting me know that they have arrived for breakfast.
