These did not really turn out the best, but they were sure fun to take! They each jumped at each other a couple times. I am very happy to be able to show the one time!! When they jumped it was just straight up and down!

I have never seen rabbits jump like that. Lucky you had your camera to hand.
Are they pets, or wild?

They are very wild. I don't believe I have ever seen that before either. I had seen the rabbits in my yard then went inside to get the camera and lens. I had my camera on a mono-pod and could not believe what I was seeing! I actually think the rabbits were "playing" with each other....maybe, maybe not. I don't really know for sure. I took several shots then the rabbits settled down and went their separate ways. I was only able to get the one photo of one jumping but thrilled I did get that! When I looked at the pics on my computer I thought CRAP! They were extremely extremely underexposed. I did not check my settings at all. The camera was in Manual, 1/1000 second f/10 ISO 400 with my Sigma 150-600C at 215mm I could not believe how dark the pictures were. I could barely see the rabbits. If I had changed my shutter speed to maybe 1/250 or something like that perhaps the pictures would have been more in focus, but since it was so dark the camera/lens could not "see" the picture good enough to focus properly. I am happy they were focused as much as they were! I should have looked at the first picture on the screen before going any further..... I used PSE 2020 and LEVELS to bring the light up more to at least see the rabbits better. Here is the original photograph of the jumping rabbit resized only. JPG only, I did not shoot in raw. Pretty bad, right?? The camera is my Canon 90D
