Blake Rudis explains how to use the action and gradients in this video. I thought it was pretty neat so thought I'd share a quick example using one of my images. Note.... You have to double click on the gradient layer and be in the Gradient Editor to be able to move it. You cannot move it like a normal Pixel Layer. Feel free to try this out and add your examples to this thread. Before After

This action works just fine in Elements.
PSE 11 through PSE 2020:
Loaded via the Actions panel or the Effects panel.
PSE 7 through PSE 10:
You need to install this action so that it can be accessed via the Action Player (Guided Edit>Automated Actions>Action Player).
Windows: C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\x.x\Locale\en_us (or your locale)\Workflow Panels\actions
Mac: Hard Drive>Library>Application Support>Adobe>Photoshop Elements>x.x>Locale>en_us (or your locale)>Workflow Panels>actions

I like the way the light is now on your subject. "I don't remember to use gradients to enhance photos. "I don't either, kdcintx . I signed up for his mailing list and received this one on color toning which also includes an action and gradients that you might like.
