Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. - Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.
NOTE
This week's theme was suggested by tonyw . (Thanks, Tony!)

Spotted the sun on a rusty antique oil drum which really made it glow. Full disclosure - I was hoping for a blurred background but the camera/lens didn't give enough so I added quite a bit more in post-processing. Tony

A quick one from the balcony.....hope to get more later in the week.... Living in a beach community near a boat yard there are lots of opportunity for rust!

I have a pair of those that I used this week. The adjustment screw was a bit rusty and difficult to turn, so I doused them with WD-40 after I was finished... loosened them up nicely. They were part of my tool box when we lived in our beach house in the Bahamas, and as such needed regular lubrication. Here in Colorado it takes long exposure to the elements (or an act of Congress) to make anything rust, so I hadn't oiled them for a few years.

There's a pair in my shed. It is surprising that they have not gone rusty.

From my water garden A garden structure Frank, great job capturing this kind of rust. Getting close to it brought up its details.

I found some rust on an old Studebaker truck this morning. Thanks for the theme Sepiana and Tony! Bill, I was hoping for a rusty car and you delivered it. What a beauty (despite the rust)! I love old cars!
