Spotted the sun on a rusty antique oil drum which really made it glow. Full disclosure - I was hoping for a blurred background but the camera/lens didn't give enough so I added quite a bit more in post-processing. Tony Tony, glad you did. You ended up with a very unique image -- glowing rust. Very nice!

Living in a beach community near a boat yard there are lots of opportunity for rust! Helen, four examples of rust, all well-captured. Great material for a collage!

Chain, nut and bolt on an old play set. (No longer code.) Clive, they are indeed rusty. Great composition and DOF!

Rusty mole grips, which I have just found in the back of my garage. Timely! Dennis, definitely rusty! I really like the portrait-orientation and the simple (uncluttered) composition. Nothing to take our eyes away from all that rust.

A rusty leg of a disused water tower Tony Tony, great shot -- composition, perspective, shapes! You nailed this one.

I'll take your word for it, Jim. As I certainly have no idea.
