I updated my Desktop with much difficulty yesterday to Win 10 Version 2004 (May 2020 Update). When I tried to open PSE 2020 I got a ‘sign in’ screen for a trial version. I tried signing in and provided my licence number but that did not seem to be accepted. I then got a message saying Activation Failed and telling me I needed an internet connection to activate the product. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection.
Anyone any ideas where I go from here.
Until I get this sorted I’m frightened to try downloading the Update on my laptop in case the same thing happens.

Thanks for that info Sepiana. I'll let you know how I get on with this later tonight - hopefully.

I decided I couldn’t wait to try this so opened the link you provided Sepiana.
Thankfully the first step of the 5 steps given appears to have fixed my problem which is just as well because my account doesn’t appear to have a ‘Manage Plan’ as per step 3 and I couldn’t see any ‘activated Devices’ section as in step 4 either.
The main thing is I'm up and running on my desktop again. Many thanks.

You are most welcome!
These instructions apply to Adobe apps in general (including the CC apps). CC subscribers have different plans and different devices to manage. That's why those steps are listed.
