Had a really interesting day out and got a load of pics as well.

Civil War uniform or no, those two guys are picturesque.

They also look quite authentic, except for the fact that, at their age, they could as well have been in the old folk's home.

I am somewhat surprised that there is such interest in places other than America.

Your pics reminded me that we have a big civil war re-enactment coming up soon just a few miles up the road; I had better check the date and mark my calendar; I hope I haven't already missed it.

On a poverty-level Kentucky budget, a 24-exposure roll of film would have two Christmases and a summer vacation on it and we might have to wait another six months before being able to afford developing the film.
I still have trouble remembering that it doesn't cost anything to take thousands of pictures; it just almost seems impossible to be true.

I did and as I have it in my avitar that critique is welcome I do not see the problem, plus as there are other posts similar in this where critique is not welcome and nothing has been said I feel I am being singled out.
