I am an 80 year-old Civil Engineer. I am still active in my company as a consultant and Director, on a three day week basis.
I live in Cape Town South Africa.
I got my first SLR camera, a Yashica when I was 21, my 21st birthday present.
I graduated to a Nikon F, and have been a Nikon fan ever since., with F2. nikormat, and Nikonus underwater
I spent 5 years sailing in the Indian ocean islands, the Atlantic and the Med. Taking both underwater and interest photos.
I converted to digital about 15 years ago.
I now have a Nikon D500, a D7000.
I print my photographs using an Epson R3000.
My main interest is wild life and bird photography, especially Birds in Flight.
I mainly use a Nikon 200/500mm Super Zoom.
I have recently started to experiment with Macro.
I started with Elements 2 and now use Elements 2018 with the Elements + add-on.
