Hi there, I hope I've done this right. These are my visitors to my garden, we've only noticed them since the beginning of Summer when my husband bought me a trail camera for my birthday. They are rather a controversial animal in the UK amongst farmers, but really they are shy, private creatures, and so cute. This is the best image I have taken of them from outside using my makeshift hide, night before last. I was tired last night and managed to stay out until 11 pm but no images. They did come in but something kept spooking them, me probably .

Thanks Elaine. Nice photo....nice background contrast. Your badgers are much differently coloured than ours. Moments ago, one of our summer-place maintenance staff said a badger has been around, so I'll look for it this evening. Clive

I agree with Karen and Clive.....nice composition against the dark background. Sounds like you have the patience it takes to be a wildlife photographer, Elaine. Thanks for sharing him with us.

Thank you for your kind comments. It sure takes some patience. The badgers came late last night, I went to bed but my husband tells me they left plenty of evidence - holes all over the lawn 😱
We don't mind though, it's a privilege having them visit us.

it's a privilege having them visit us. Yes, agree. At our summer place, some people do not like the deer eating the shrubs..we love it when they come into our yard. Some people do not like Canada geese in our parks. But we feel like you: privileged and lucky. Clive
