Here is the Moon taken by itself using my Sigma 150-600C lens with my Sigma 2.0TC at 1200mm. Some light sharpening done in Elements with unsharp mask Click on image here, double click at Flickr to see full size and scroll around Moon by inspeqtor, on Flickr

That's impressive Inspeqtor ! Very nice. 1,200 mm is getting up there. Your noon shot is darn good! Hummm...so do I now have to buy a 2X extender?

Charles, I have followed your continued posts related to getting a good picture of the moon over the years. So nice to see that you have been rewarded for your efforts. As Clive said.....Impressive.

If you add in the 1.6 value of the Canon 90D the value goes to 1920mm Is your Sony FF or ... well my is drawing a blank on the name of the type of sensor I am referring to.... Here is the Before and After using the Unsharp Mask Should I have gone a bit more on the mask or does it look pretty good? This way you get to see what came SOOC (straight out of camera) What do you get using just the 600mm on your Sony? I have heard Sony is pretty dang good!

I did another shot last night of the Moon again with my Canon 90D and my Sigma 150-600C with my Sigma 2.0 TC now at 1200MM I used to struggle a lot with focus using my Canon 60D and my old Sigma 150-500 lens. I would spend literally 2+ hours trying to get a good "in focus" shot but NEVER achieved getting it. Now with my Canon 90D with MF Peaking and my newer 150-600 lens I am out only 20 minutes and I am done! Oh that is SOOOO NICE!! I LOVE IT!!

Another nice one, Charles. You should feel very pleased with yourself. I kind of felt the same when I finally had some success shooting long exposures of the ocean.
