Very disappointed - I have the regular version of Lightroom 6 and the 6.1 update doesn't provide the Haze control that you get with the CC version.

Andy, I think we wil see more of this in the time to come. They hope to get people up on the cloud.. There is a way to add it to stand alone LR, it involves using user created presets. Paraphrased from a web photography forum (Dpreview): Click the + on the Presets menu and create presets called Dehaze0, Dehaze10 .. Dehaze50 (or whatever). Note only save the Effects settings. Edit each one in a text editor. Remove all lines in the "settings =" section except: Dehaze = 0, EnableEffects = true, ProcessVersion = "6.7", Then change the Dehaze = to suit the Preset name. Allowed values are -100 to 100, settings below 0 add Fog to the image. Copying and editing one saved preset won't work as they have unique IDs and creating them in Lightroom generates those. User presets are located here: C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Develop Presets\User Presets This requires the latest 6.1 LR update, and it does work.

I have v. 5.7, and that was a little "tecky" for me, but I'm sure there are people here that can use your directions! Thanks so much!

An excellent "work-around" tip for haze reduction control that works perfectly in the stand-alone version of LR 6.1. Thanks for posting!

On the 'Prolost' website there are some free Dehaze presets to download for LR 6.1. I've installed them and they work perfectly. The effects are nearly as good as 'Clearview' in Dxo pro elite.

Thank you for the tip, Phil. I labored over trying to decide if it was worth $49, but I bit the bullet and I'm really glad I did. The Dehaze is just a tiny bit of the functionality of these presets. The way he has them organized and set up is great. I've already applied some of them to a couple of photos where I've really been struggling the sliders to get the look the way I want it, and with this collection, it was a snap. Worth every penny.
