Earlier today, about three hours ago, I typed a lengthy response to someone's thread and hit Submit/ Create/ Send or whatever and got the cannot connect to this site deal.

I could browse anything else, but could not connect with this site.

I kept fooling around, tried different browsers, and lost the reply that I had typed; then, all of a sudden, it started working.

Was something going on with the site, or did I have something wrong on my end ?

Elements 7 ~~~ 64-bit Windows 7

On a poverty-level Kentucky budget, a 24-exposure roll of film would have two Christmases and a summer vacation on it and we might have to wait another six months before being able to afford developing the film.
I still have trouble remembering that it doesn't cost anything to take thousands of pictures; it just almost seems impossible to be true.

I wasn't on the site about three hours ago, but have experienced what you are describing from time to time. There is a setting in profile that has often saved me when I have lost a post. I am not sure if this setting would have helped you in this instance but you might want to check to see if you have enabled it under settings in your profile.
