Trying out this feature in PSCC. I am thinking it might be fun/helpful to post some of our attempts and get some constructive criticism. This image was taken in Florida at sunset a few years ago. While there was some color in the sky in the original it was rather bland. Here's my attempt..... Before Sky Replacement

There's a similar feature in PSE 2021 (perfect landscape) It works well providing there's no need to add the reversed sky to a lake surface.

Thanks for sharing your replacement from On1, Pete. I am hoping other members might add their edits as well.

I took this photo many years ago. It is the trees in the fields at the rear of where we live. It was quite a nice autumn that year but the original sky for this image was a washout. Replaced it with a sky from another of my photos.

Thanks for sharing your replacement from On1, Pete. I am hoping other members might add their edits as well. You're most welcome ... PSE 2021 used for replacement. I used one of the 7 images stitched for this pano just to test the sky replacement
This sky replacement was made with On1, however I used my own sky which I also inverted to obtain the reflection

Thanks for sharing, Lillias. I wish you would get that camera out more often. I would love to see more of your beautiful country!
The reflections and getting the light right are the tricky part for sure, Pete. Looking at mine I am not sure how well I did that.

When I first looked I thought this was a monochrome image, Judy. I like the color palette and the sky you chose. That's a very interesting structure.

Thank you, Helen. It doesn’t have much color that’s for sure. This photo has a lot of opportunities

I took this one this morning - it was rather dull and basically a grey sky so a good candidate for a sky replacement which worked quite well using PS. Doing it also got me started indexing my sky photos that I've collected over the years but never organized! hmca - this is what that Lotus pond looks like at the end of October! One thing I did at the end was to apply a profile in Camera Raw (or Lightroom) which tends to help tie the new sky and old foreground together - in this case I used Modern 2 with a slightly reduced intensity. Works well, Tony. What a sad look for that glorious lotus pond. Nature is really amazing. Will be interested in seeing its return to glory next summer.

MattK has a video link on sky replacement with Photoshop 2021. At 5 minutes, he begins a sky replacement in a photo with a lake. At 22 minutes, he adds the new sky reflecting in the lake. Basically, he flipped the sky vertically (similar to Peter).
