Elements + Add to Effects Palette ???

I have done this before and now I cannot get it to cooperate.

I have been using Elements 7 + Curves feature quite a bit, so I decided it would make things quicker if I were to add Curves to the Elements + Effects Palette and/or the tray menu Favorites.

When I bring up the dialogue and select Curves, the two little icons then appear; one says "Add to FX Menu (or somesuch)"; the other says "Add to Scripts".

I added it to both and it shows up in neither.

Now, when I try to add it again, I get a warning that it is already there --- but it is not.....

What am I doing wrong ?

Elements 7 ~~~ 64-bit Windows 7

On a poverty-level Kentucky budget, a 24-exposure roll of film would have two Christmases and a summer vacation on it and we might have to wait another six months before being able to afford developing the film.
I still have trouble remembering that it doesn't cost anything to take thousands of pictures; it just almost seems impossible to be true.

The new effect thumbnail should appear in the Effects panel after rebuilding the PSE cache.
I.e., you have to delete MediaDatabase.db3 file and restart PSE Editor.

YES; that helps a lot !

I knew I was missing something simple.
