October's Blue Moon was a total bust due to cloud cover. The next night I was rewarded with clear skies so I went to the spot I had chosen for the full moon on Oct. 31st. This is a composite of the foreground captured using light painting and the moon. PP Work Flow: Topaz Denoise AI; On1 PhotoRaw 2021 adjusted tones added structure, 2 layers combined using lighten blend mode which didn't require any masking. Tripod mounted and used a remote shutter release. foreground ISO 125, f/2.8, 4 seconds moon ....... ISO 125, f/4, 1/60 sec

Wow, the enlarged image looks so good, all those stripey details in the cactus, great lighting.

Thanks. The lighting was simply my head lamp painting the cactus.
