Okay Peter, I have to ask! Curious. Is that something ground (with a grinder) such as a spice or ? in a jar? You have piqued my interest. The image is my coffee maker; I grind my own beans daily so from my personal viewpoint this is from the ground up since coffee is a necessity for me.

coffee is a necessity for me. HA HA! Have a look at this famous line by Dave Barry. (I don't want to hijack the thread so I added two spaces between the x and png at the end you will have to remove to see the image.) ) i.imgur.com/iKtP4Sx . pngWhat would we do without our morning Joe, eh? We grind daily as well. I prefer a dark roast, however tomorrow morning we are trying a new lighter roast that was recommended to us. Clive

One more from down low. Lockdowns have made traffic much, much lighter.

Billz - The trees, the curve in the road, and the sign with lamp post add a lot of interest to this down low shot. Nice composition!

This theme certainly is resulting in a lot of variety! Good subject. This time of the year vegetable gardening has migrated to the basement - these are fenugreek microgreens growing in soil 3 days after sowing - now under lights and will be good to eat in another 3 days. Tony

Another shot from today at the farm. I was having fun crawling around on the ground with my 100mm macro lens. I don't break it out often enough. This is just a branch broken off from a tumbleweed on some recent windy day. Processed in Lightroom and Silver Effects 2.

Rick......each of your macros make interesting images. I really like the B/W versions.
Tony.....the low vantage point makes them appear to be a mini jungle.

Just one more from a camera club visit to the local golf club today - closed for the winter so I was able to get down to ground level on the fairway of the par 4 !st hole. Tony

Seems like you have the perfect settings for this, Tony. Great focus on the golf ball with a nice blur on the background!

Thanks Helen - I mentioned the ground level theme as I was walking around and someone suggested that shot and produced a golf ball! I appreciated having a camera with a screen that tilts up Tony

Monday morning at ground level. Thanks for the theme Sepiana! Bill, you are a master at turning a mundane event (a flat tire) into an image worth framing. I love the grunge look!

Couldn't resist - a ground level selfie ... Tony, you got a winner here! Ground level selfie captured to perfection (with a Charlie Chaplin's touch). Well done!
