Great idea, Tony. Nice that Tony inspired you, Clive. As Alex said in the polarizing thread...."It is what I love most about this forum that we all learn from each other" your envelopes )as shown) would make a cool wrapping paper. .....if you say so.

My last one.....Tony and Clive reminded me of the CD Color trick(?). CD was placed on table under a lamp. I think billz might have posted this idea years ago.....I know I picked it up from someone here or at the old EV.

Didn't need to go any further than the kitchen for this one! Tony

Here's some color from the Portland cityscape, along with a good message. Color enhancement created in camera with Fujifilm Provia film simulation. Thanks for the theme Sepiana!

Back and forth between the computer and the kitchen today. Great find, Bill. Perfect message!

I bought a couple of bags of gourds for our Thanksgiving last month. (BTW, Happy Thanksgiving to our American members this week.) The sun shone through the patio doors today and brightened the colorful fruit.

I was excited to get it before the rainbow disappeared. It’s such a shame that the surrounding sky was so dismal but then the weather as a whole isn’t too great here at the moment. BillieJean, the sky is indeed dismal but you still captured the rainbow colors. Mother Nature doesn't always cooperate.

My wife is a quilter and has an embroidery machine ... this is just part of one of three thread racks! Clive, very colorful thread rack. Nice composition -- repetitive pattern. I really like how you captured the spools leaning in one direction.

After a quick look around the house I came up with these pieces from Blokus.....a board game that provided hours of fun with the grandkids when they were younger. Helen, the black background is a nice contrast to the colorful game pieces. Very nice!

Hope this is acceptable for Colors. Not a bunch, but certainly colorful. This was taken in Columbus, Indiana a town famous for its architecture. kathylee, yes, it's rather colorful. Interesting subject (shape, lines). I like the angle you took your shot.

Assorted books off my shelves and arranged by Roy. G. Biv ... bonus points for figuring out that. Clive, what a bunch of colorful book covers! Good finding. The boldface made it easier to figure that out.

Virtually all of my wife's quilted goods (mainly actual quilts) are donated to "community quilts" (senior lodges, families in need, etc) and to the regional hospital. I am always charged with photographing her goods before shipping so she has reminders of her donations over the years. Quilted Christmas stockings photographed today, November 24, 2020. Clive, two for the price of one -- colors galore and all for a good cause (with the bonus of being in the spirit of Christmas).
