I just bought Photoshop Elements and I have a question right away.
When I open a RAW photo in CameraRaw 12.3 I want to save it as a JPEG file. This does not work directly and has to be done via DNG. After that I can convert to JPEG. The big problem is that I lose my EXIF data on the way.
How do I solve this? Or is there a faster way to go from RAW to JPEG without losing EXIF data?
Thank you in advance

Forget the 'Save' button. You are supposed to use the 'Open' button which opens the file in the normal pixel editor and do everything you are used to, including saving, printing as well as editing. By the way, converting to the DNG format with the 'Save button' does not lose the exif data. It's embedded in the DNG container. Can explain why you think the exif data is no longer present?

Thank you Michel. It was a bit confusing for a novice user. Open to save??? But it is working now.

Thank you Michel. It was a bit confusing for a novice user. Open to save??? But it is working now. Yes, that 'Save' button should be renamed something like 'DNG convert' and explained. Save does no make sense and is totally misleading. However, I strongly advise to take the time to use the 'Help' button to get the basics of raw processing. Feel free to ask here in this forum for more info.
