I will be most interested to see what the new features will be (and if any will be removed from current version). You can read about the new features in Elements 14 in the link posted in this THREAD. The page where this information was originally posted has been pulled down by Adobe but there are some screen shots. However, I am not sure how reliable this information is. Adobe is not in the habit of releasing this kind of information. The same thing happened last year and Adobe reacted the same way -- pulled down the page.

There must be something I'm not getting here. A couple of messages here say SmartCurves doesn't work with Windows 64 bit mode. Here's a screen shot of my SmartCurves, running on Windows 7 64 bit. Perhaps I have a different program, but with a similar name? I'm still rather new here and perhaps there's something I'm not understanding. But here it is: It's loaded under "Filter" and then "Easy.Filter" on the bar at the top of the PSE 9 screen. Thanks all, Paul

The issue of the SmartCurve plug-in and 64-bit is not about the OS; it has to do with the application in which this plug-in is being installed. It has to be 32-bit. Elements 9 is a 32-bit application. Therefore, SmartCurve is compatible with Elements 9.

Thanks very much, Sepiana... I knew there had to be an explanation. I take your point, that was the key to clearing up my misunderstanding!
Best,
Paul
