Is there anyone here familiar with Stellarium software (stellarium.org) for Astrology? I have used this software off and on for a few years now. I recently found the date and time is wrong in my copy. I googled how to fix it this HERE
The problem is the web site does not tell you how to SAVE the changes! If I close Stellarium after making the changes then reopen Stellarium the date/time is still wrong. Thank you for any help you can give me!

I’m not familiar with the app but check that you have the date and time correct in Windows (you can find it in settings) . That’s where many apps get the date and time from.

I use Stellarium all the time for astronomy. Possibly your home location has been mangled.... try f6 [function 6] to check your time zone.

I use Stellarium all the time for astronomy. Possibly your home location has been mangled.... try f6 [function 6] to check your time zone. My time zone shows -5 hours which is correct. According to Google Earth, when I am looking at my house within Google earth the vector not shown here is correct. The date never changes in this screen. It always shows 2020-11-07 I just now realized something new. The TIME Always starts at the same time 1:38:00. The seconds do start counting when I open up Stellarium but when I close then reopen Stellarium the date and time start at the same date same time. Now THAT is strange!
