Wordmark quickly lets you see how a word or phrase will look with all the fonts you have installed on your computer. With the Google extension it will include any fonts you may have added to Photoshop and I would imagine Photoshop Elements. When trying to find a font, I find it helpful to be able to view them all on one page. This may have been posted before but I didn't find it using our search. I found it when going through my bookmarks. I am not using the pro version.

Thanks Helen. I installed the Chrome extension so I could see them all. Might be handy. PSE does have samples of each font..this might be better. Clive

I googled this. The Chrome Extension apparently can read anything on your computer, including passwords. Warnings against the Google extension are only slightly less dire.
When I want to see my text in different Fonts I run the cursor through the listed Fonts before committing and watch it change. Not as great as to see all on one page, but safe.

Also, I set the Font Preview Size to "Huge" (Edit>Preferences>Type>. . .); this makes it very easy to see the different fonts. Better safe than sorry!!!

ritage .....I think that is a general warning that Google gives with all of their extensions. I don't have many extensions but find this one helpful....as well as AdBlock. It is given a high score by Scamadviser. Another font helper that is just available for Window users is nexusfont. This comes very highly recommended from a FB group that I am in but isn't available for Mac users.

Helen, I was not referring to the warning that Google itself gives, which I never even saw. I found several sites (on Google) that evaluate such offerings. One said something like, go ahead and use it if you trust it. I thought that was pretty funny. As a matter of fact, I never heard of a Font Helper until today and the idea seemed interesting. But I've lived without it for 20 years and I'll never miss it.
