This morning I was fortunate to be with a group of biologists and a vet from a project "Bobcats in Tucson" when we went to check their 20 or so live traps. When caught the bobcats are anesthetized, fitted with a tracking collar, then released. This bobcat named "Dave" was a recapture so I took this while in the cage before he was released. On1 to the rescue ... using Dynamic Contrast applied with a inverted color mask (trap selected) enabled the bobcat to shine.

Well done. Bobcat really does stand out from the cage.

Well done. Bobcat really does stand out from the cage. Thanks! ... This technique is probably available in PSE or Photoshop but I can't say for certain.
