Sepiana, love the almost infrared look!
Julie, glad to hear you got it resolved thanks to Sepiana! Isn't it great when you learn something new through a mistake?

Sepiana, love the almost infrared look! Julie, glad to hear you got it resolved thanks to Sepiana! Isn't it great when you learn something new through a mistake? Yes, it is, Simone. Ha Ha I think I must learn more than most 'coz I make so many mistakes! I'm not good at reading instructions, I think, probably due to getting older Unfortunately, I soon forget again so then it's back to the starting block I just try to keep a note of what to do, including the remedy for mistakes, so I can refer back later.

This is so addictive; I can't stop playing with the Gradient Map. I was wondering what would happen if I changed the Gradient Map layer blending mode to Difference. So, I used this image from freeimages.com as a guinea pig and came up with this.

Wow, that is gorgeous Sepiana. I know what you mean about this tut being addictive. I have been going through some of my pics from Japan to see which ones I think it would look good on.

This is a challenge I love very much. Thank you. There are so many inspiring enrties! I made one with a blue and orange gradiant.. and then I decided to play with blendmodes as well. I used multiply with the levels adjustment layer, and lighten with the gradiant map layer.
