I agree with Jacki Helen. Great result. I give my blessing to anyone else who wants to have a go. Thank you Jacki. Not something I do very much but here goes. In PSE went to Enhance > Convert to black & white and chose scenic landscape and adjusted settings slightly. Duplicated the result and went to Enhance > Adjust Lighting > Shadows/Highlights - Lightened shadows 35%, Darkened Highlights 31% and Midtone Contrast +37%.

Thanks, Jacki and Lillias. Silver Efex is a wonderful plug-in for B/W conversion. I like your results as well, Lillias.......and all done within PE.

Very nice results Lillias, and I do appreciate your keeping notes of the steps you took to get there. I like how the image now looks like it was taken a long time ago, do you get that same feeling or is it just me?

Day 51 - Eden Wharf. One day we snuck across the border into New South Wales and had fish and chips at Eden.

I like how the image now looks like it was taken a long time ago, do you get that same feeling or is it just me? I'm not sure. Black and white images always take me back to when I was little and all we could get or more correctly could afford was black and white so in that respect it is nostalgic.

Day 52 - Fisherman at Werribee South, this is the closest stretch of beach to where I live and where we usually launch the boat to go out into Port Phillip Bay to go fishing, 15 mins from home. It's always windy and cold and I would never go swimming here though some people do brave the chilly conditions.

Day 53 - The Australian Open is done and dusted, congratulations to Naomi and the Djoker. This photo is from 2020 when all was well in the world and we had no idea of the virus from hell.
