Knowing I will never get to Australia, I am enjoying seeing it through your eyes, Jacki. Would you also consider posting some of the things you might see on your "everyday" when you are out and about?

That's a brilliant idea Helen, and I will make an effort to take the camera with me on my daily dog walks. Next week we are going away for a week and I hope to bring you some more photos of our travels around our Victorian State. Bear in mind that I am no BillZ when it comes to street photography....but I will try and bring you a little of what I see where I live.

Day 79 - Spoontown - taken with my phone along one of the routes where I like to walk the dog. There were lots of these spoon communities popping up all over the place during our Covid lockdowns, very popular with families with small children who liked to imagine themselves as wooden spoons. Some were very cleverly done, I like the one with the bicycle. |

Never did try camping, Jacki. Seems to have gained in popularity in the states due to Covid. Nice set-up.

Yes, it’s the same here, no one can go overseas so caravanning has become popular. One day we hope to travel around the entire country, so these short trips away are so we can iron out any problems and learn how to fix them, Australia can be quite remote in a lot of places and help can be just down the road or 500km away....
