Day 73 - Water hazard on the golf course, I think this waterhole has a bad case of blue green algae, very toxic to wildlife and the occasional golf ball.

Sadly that water issue seems to be all too common, Jacki.

Well those gulls should join PSEM since they are scrappers.

Day 75 - Banjo shark, unhooked and released back into the water. At first glance I thought this was a stingray...never heard of banjo sharks so that's something else I've learned.

I think this waterhole has a bad case of blue green algae but, then again, Chicago turned their water green on purpose - they just dyed the River green for St. Patrick's Day - very interesting look. They've been doing this since 1962. According to The Chicago Sun-Times, the tradition started because plumbers used green dye to keep track of pollution and where it seeped into the river.
Jacki - I am so enjoying your daily photos, you have such a variety of subjects. The lighthouse photo is terrific - you captured the building and the sea/sky perfectly. And that Banjo Shark -- too cool.

Thank you Janice for your lovely comments. I’ve been having fun going through my photos and trying to post the more interesting ones, then I have to wrack my memory to remember where they were taken as I haven’t always been so diligent in keeping track of those things.

remember where they were taken Makes me smile. I am pretty good at remembering and, despite taking 20,000+ pix a year, rarely come across a photo that I can't recall details. Having said that, I do miss not having GPS in my "new" camera. Your daily postings are fun. Thanks Jacki!
