Cool bird Jacki! Had to look it up. It is indeed a "wader" but in this case, apparently not a wader.  Waders or shorebirds are birds of the order CharadriiformesQuite different than our curlews, yet closely related. Thanks. Clive I probably should have added Eastern to the name, but yes your curlews have much longer beaks right? |

Loved reading about this project, Jacki. It was interesting to see the work in the additional links at the bottom of the page as well. It is nice to read how the project has revitalized the town.
