We buy amaryllis bulbs each winter (along with hyacinth bulbs) and one has opened...this stalk will have at least four flowers ... there is a fifth bud, but it might not amount to much. I prefer the dark red flowers, but this one is okay.  |

They are stunning looking flowers, I quite like the delicate pink stripes in this one.

Thanks. I mis-spoke as there are four fully open flowers with two more buds. Just FYI regarding the light. The flowers are lighted with natural window light on a sunny day. The dark background is merely shade. In winter, the sun angle is quite low and sun can come in the patio doors even with the 7-ft overhang.  |
