I sure hope I chose the correct forum to put this question in.... I just did an update for Elements 2020 and at the end I got this window. Usage data is being collected to help Adobe improve their product by clicking on OK. I do NOT want to add this app but there is no way to cancel out of this. All this allows me to do is to click OK to add the app. I still have this window up and running. I do hope someone here can tell me how to end this so I can go back and start using PSE 2020 without adding this app to my computer. Thank you very much!

I just happened to think I COULD shut down my computer. That is the only thing I can think of, but if I do that would that mess up the actual update? I do not know what the update was for anyway or what the new version of PSE2020 this will be now.

Charles, If you don't want Adobe to collect your usage data, you need to go to your Adobe account and change your preferences. 1. Sign in. 2. Go to Manage Account > Profile > Privacy > Desktop and app usage. 3. Turn off "Yes, I would like to share information on how I use Adobe desktop apps".

Hi Sepiana,
I have been using Elements for many many years now. I would never wanted to do this so I do not know why they are asking me now.
I am now logged into Adobe but am not finding Manage Account anywhere at top of the page or at the very bottom.
Please tell me how to find this so I can make sure I am not showing Yes I want to share with Adobe?
Do you think it would be OK for me to reboot my computer to close this portion of the update down?
Thank you

Adobe introduced this some time ago; I can't remember with which PSE version. Maybe it was not with the PSE version you had before (v15). -- Desktop app usage information FAQYou should have a "Profile" tab. Click on it to get to "Privacy". Just click OK to close that dialog.

I also do not see a "Profile" tab. At the top I see this: I do not know why it says I have the "Creative Cloud Free plan" cuz I do not...... to my knowledge anyway.... At the bottom: Where are the tabs found? Or am I at the wrong Adobe location??

Try this . . .
1. Click on the round blue icon on the right top corner of the screen. 2. Click on "View Account". Now you should see the "Profile" tab at the top of the page.

Charles, What did you think that round blue progress bar or is it a small blue clock face showing about fifteen minutes past 12 or a randomly chopped blue circle or the badly designed font "G" character was for?!!! You need to "get out more"! What else could it possibly have been?
