Image borrowed from Andrei Doubrovski post in another thread. (Thanks to HMCA for showing me how to tag people in a post.) The Curves dialogue in my Elements 7 + lacks the little pointy-finger thingie that is on the left edge of the example above, just below where it says "Output: 168 and to the left of "Input:145. Is this a feature not possible in Elements 7 ? I watched a video that showed that feature to be quite useful. If it is not possible in E7, in what version was it introduced ? Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

Hi BuckSkin, The "finger" gadget is available in PSE 8 and above.

Hi BuckSkin, The "finger" gadget is available in PSE 8 and above. Thanks; I also have E12, but I dislike it; I will check out E8 and see just how much different it is from E7; and, if it is pretty much the same as E7, I may get E8 just for that feature.

Buckskin, when you are checking out PSE8, make sure you are happy with the print window. Some years ago I used PSE8 and found the print window was not user friendly. I can't remember the exact problem but you could not easily position the image for printing the way that previous versions could. I preferred PSE9 over PSE8. Just my 2c.
Kind regards Chris
