We don't get it that often.....the second time in a week is a real Bonanza! Critique welcome....not sure of white balance and anything else you would like to suggest.

I can't offer a critique just admiration for such beautiful images. I'm glad you are enjoying the snow.

Very nice and snow isn't the easiest of subjects. Getting the snow to look white is a common problem under a clear blue sky but looks like it was still snowing so you wouldn't have that problem! When it's still snowing like this I often find that a contrast boost helps - and I usually do that with clarity or dehaze rather than contrast but it comes down to personal taste. We missed that storm - just now getting the cold from the polar vortex rather than snow from your nor'easter - love the way that weather now has to have a name!

Thanks for the suggestion. Tony. You can keep the cold but I'll take the snow any day. And then there was this guy...... A composite as getting him big enough in the frame left no surrounding but the river. Hadn't seen your suggestion when I edited this one.

Nice Helen.
A heavy blizzard can be falling and I find it difficult to show the intensity of the snow in a photo. There is a sweet spot shutter speed that helps (think it's about 1/20 second...not sure.) Too fast or too slow does not work. Adjusting contrast in PS can help.
I just for a 15-minute walk in the park as the fresh snow under blue sky is pretty. Not look at pix yet.

You can keep it, Helen. We don't need anymore. Nice shots.
