I have PS 2021 on my machine and I also have 2020. First - if I am in my pictures library and double click to open a random photo - sometimes it opens with PS 2021 and sometimes PS 2020 - why? Second - is there harm in ditching 2020? Thanks

blackmutt , I keep only PS 2021 (on two computers); PS 2020 has been removed. No problems, no harm done.

.hmmmm.....I might leave 2020 on just in case 2021 starts acting up the way it appears to be doing. Since the update I've had nothing but problems, including freezing and corrupted psd files.

srmoment, Judy's question is about Photoshop not Photoshop Elements hence my answer that it's safe to remove v.2020. The "infamous" update (2021.1) that is creating havoc pertains to Photoshop Elements 2021.
