Hi everyone, Would you like to participate in the Weekly Photo Challenge? Just take a photo that is your interpretation of the theme and post it in this thread. The rules are rather simple.
- Your photo(s) should be your own, i.e., they should not have been taken by someone else. - Photoshopping is allowed but should be kept to the basics only rather than a total transformation. - Grab your camera, experiment, and, most of all, have fun.

The fence surrounding the children's playground in the local park and the antique park bench offer examples of parallels to illustrate this week's theme. i.ibb.co/RB5tbgr/Fence.jpgi.ibb.co/q5FRnMc/Seat.jpgThe following shots are by my deaf son, who always walks with me but on this occasion displayed a sudden and intense interest in what I was doing. He was eager to offer his own contributions, so I have included them on the next item below. I hope that contributors will bear with his efforts and hopefully, he may be encouraged to make further contributions. At any rate, he thoroughly enjoyed it! Brenda

I'm glad to see that Matthew joined in, Brenda. I like the angle that he chose for the bench and would love to explore that structure in his second image. Photography could be a great hobby for him. Hope to see him continue to contribute to our forum. Great perspective, Bill! Here are my two from today.....

Yesterday, after a very dreary day we had a lovely sunset. It emphasized the parallel lines on this nearby high-rise. At the end of processing I added a black and white version with the luminosity blend mode as suggested by Frank in another thread.

Had to do another - the parallel jerker lines that operate wells at a historic oil field which hopefully will move ... Tony

Parallel Parking. Parallel railway lines. whippet, great job finding these two examples of parallel lines. I really like the angle you used in the second shot -- looking downwards.

Brenda Brenda, your eye for composition is evident in these two shots. Great diagonal angle! It brings out the parallel lines. I also hope to see Mathew back here participating in the WP challenge. I look forward to it!
