Here's a link to a simple triptych action from Gavtrain, Margaret. Maybe this will help if you want to give this another try. I think it might work with your version of PE. |

I downloaded this action and tried it and it does work with PSE 2020. Thanks for that link Helen. It provided a straight three rectangle panel triptych so give it a try whippet. It's really easy and once you have run it you can place a texture of choice for the background to the triptych and your done.

To anyone interested in this action, . . .
It works just fine in PSE 11 through PSE 2021 (loaded via the Actions Panel).
It also works in PSE 7 through PSE 10 but you need to install it so that it can be accessed via the Action Player (Guided Edit>Automated Actions>Action Player).
Windows: C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\x.x\Locale\en_us (or your locale)\Workflow Panels\actions
Mac: Hard Drive>Library>Application Support>Adobe>Photoshop Elements>x.x>Locale>en_us (or your locale)>Workflow Panels>actions
