When reading various tutorials, I note that many enjoy using layer styles by Jodi Frye. Are these available anywhere for download or purchase? After doing some research it seems many years ago it was possible to purchase a CD with a lot of features that could be used in PS Elements. PET magazine has a reference to her old website jodifryesgraphicimages.weebly.com which evidently later moved to jodifrye.weebly.com/. However, those links no longer work and I can't find her website anywhere. Can someone please advise me if its still possible to find these layer styles? Kind regards Chris |

Jodi Frye was a member on the now-closed Elements Village forum. She used to create layer styles which she sold on CDs titled "Photoshop Elements: The Missing Styles!". They were frames, bevels, photo tints, glows, and drop shadows. Then, later on she created some layer styles which were available free of charge on her website. Unfortunately her website is no longer up and running.
I do have most of her layer styles (purchased and free). However, I have no information that Jodi has authorized the redistribution of those layer styles which used to be available free of charge on her website.
Another thing to keep in mind is, if we freely redistribute her layer styles, we can run into the problem of those layer styles which were available ONLY FOR PURCHASE ON A CD now being "given away". She may still be in the business of selling those CDs.

Thank you Sepiana. Yes, please send me her e mail in a PM. As you mention, it's important Jodi has control over the distribution of her creations. Hopefully, she may open a new site where they might be available once again. I have been admiring the use of her frames and layer styles in the "Creative Challenge" section of the PSE and More Forum.

Update: Jodi's styles are available from the Photoshop & PSE Users group on Facebook. It is a private group but all you have to do is ask to join (and agree to abide by their rules of course).
Diana Day runs the group and has a dropbox folder with the styles in it. A member of the group, Pauline Washburn, is in contact with Jodi and confirmed her permission to share her styles.
